Hi, my name is Karina and I’m a makeup artist from Sydney. After years working in publishing and organising editorial shoots I felt pulled towards makeup - I’ve always loved being creative and having the ability to make people see their true beauty is a really special thing. It’s why I do what I do. I’m not particularly excited by beauty ‘trends’, what excites me is the artistry behind creating each unique look and the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life.

I’ve been guided in my career by some of the industry’s best artists including Rae Morris, Sarah Laidlaw, Katie Angus and Beck Carroll and always use high-end products to create mostly natural and luminous makeup looks.

• I have two kids who forced me to learn to cook (love their food) and who never tire of fart jokes.
• I once lived on a 25-acre bush block with my husband even though we knew nothing about farm life. You can probably guess how that went.
